Introduction
When I was six years old, on the 14th January 1973, ‘Aloha from Hawaii’ was broadcast around the globe. This was the first programme ever to be beamed around the world by satellite. With 1 Billion viewers worldwide, more people actually watched the Aloha concert than had watched Neil Armstrong take his first steps on the moon! I never tire of watching Elvis in that concert – he looked and sounded like a God from Mount Olympus. My aim is to convey this same feeling of warmth, enthusiasm and showmanship in my tribute act
